An Introduction
Point of View
My
main therapeutic orientation is in Psychosynthesis, a psychology that takes into account: - Personal history
- Family of
origin
- What it means to be a human animal
- Subpersonalities-I can't believe I said that, that is not like
me, inner children, critics, teachers our inner artists, rebels etc
- Our roots and the soil from which we came from-strong?
healthy? toxic? Don't wanna go there?
as well
as issues of:
- House- what is life like for you now? where is home? what does home look
& feel like? Who is important in your present life-relationships of love or hate or neutrality or all of them together
- Car- what is it like to maneuver, to move around in your life in the present time
- Job-
what do you do for work, to support yourself or others. How do you spend your days, nights
and the transpersonal: - Who are you beyond
a body, the life you know, the roles you play
- Spirituality
- Joy
- Calling
- Inspiration
- Peak
experiences
- How do you experience that inner voice that calls you to be more than yourself?
In
Psychosynthesis we move from positions of duality- thinking and responding in terms of either/or. To
a middle position of Both/And so that we can have an authentic experience
and accounting of our lives thus far. It is also in this middle position that we can make different choices because
we are able to hold the possibility of there being more options.
